Web Developer

Job Description / Responsibility

• A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures;
• Creation of website`s layout/user interface for providing design concepts by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Placement and layout of the web site pages given client provided content.
• Development of robust, user-friendly and secured web applications
• Assist in the design and creation of relational database schemes according to project requirements;
• Web application development expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript and JQuery. Expertise in any other languages will be an advantage;
• Strong query knowledge in MySQL is mandatory or any other databases will be an advantage
• Knowledge in wordpress, Joomla, CodeIgniter frameworks is mandatory. Knowledge in any other CMS or frameworks will get preference
• Know-how in E-Commerce module (i.e. Megento, OS-Commerce, opencart ) & Integrating payment module (i.e. Paypal, sslcommerz etc.);
• Understanding the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO are preferred;
• Intense knowledge of web security implementation;
• Understand the overall software design and implement modules/classes/methods using well-known design pattern
• Ability to unit test and debug software bugs and deliver functioning modules.
• Resolve problems as they appear in projects and help project team members when necessary;
• Meeting tight deadlines and doesn't take working as pressure but enjoys challenges;
• Communicate directly with peers, managers, and clients while leading the development of a completed and successful solution;
• Mmanage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of clients' timelines and budgets
• Ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment

Additional Job Requirements

• Age 22 to 30 years
• At least 1 years experience in PHP in a Commercial Environment
• Detail knowledge on Object oriented programming
• The conversion of a PSD template to the website using XHTML, CSS & JavaScript for HTML based design, div based (table-less/fluid design) development is preferred;
• Familiarity with Web application development tools
• Potential to design Application/Framework as per required;
• Potential to gather Specifications/Requirements in a standard format
• Regular maintenance of existing sites and PHP/web applications

Salary Range: Negotiable
